1st day of being alone

Jerry left about 7am to go to the hunting shack. he likes to go up there alone for a couple days before the sons and grandsons get there. of course that is always a worry to me. he had a heart attack many years ago and while he seems to be in good condition and takes care of himself, he is there ALONE, with no way to communicate or anything. i told him if he has another, he should know he probably will die. i am always so glad when at least one of the boys gets there. deer season starts on Saturday am---so until then the guys will get up the wood for the barrel stove, play cards and talk. i am so glad there is no booze or smoking in their group, but the hunters in the woods with guns and alcohol in their bodies are the ones that scare me. the ones who make "sound" shots---they shoot at sounds instead of seeing the animal. I pray many times a day for God to put a hedge of safety around them as they walk in the woods.
I accomplished nothing today except to change the bed I have been sleeping in here in the den.tomorrow I have to make a big pan of enchiladas for #2 son to pick up and take up to camp.plus I have to start getting things ready to leave for texas soon after Jerry gets home. I fell asleep in the chair all evening, which I guess is allowed when you are as old as I am. now I am going to hit the hay again and hope I can sleep some more.. ------over and out for now.

hey, you two, happy to see you on my comments places---BUT---WHEN i try to get to your journals i am asked to sign in with my google account and it keeps telling me my pasword is wrong---and it is right cuz i wrote it down when i made it and it works in other places. i hope to get in soon---love you both---barb

oh, my goodness---what next?? I think i have a computer like no one else has--why are not my buttons in the same place as my teacher's? i have been chasing around the computer searching for the time changer---time is correct in the right hand corner---but the time put on blog entries and comments is wrong--EST is only 1 hour ahead of us, but shows 3 hours different. guess it doesn't really make any difference--so will ignore that one---

Marty, you are the sweetheart of all in the way you have tried to help me. you keep me laughing with your blogs and comfort me with your prayers and empathy. if your parents were not still in the picture i would adopt you!!!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

I AM STILL TRYING TO FIND MY WAY AROUND THIS NEW AREA OF BLOGGING. HAVE TROUBLE FINDING THING TO CLICK ON TO MKE Z NEW POZXT.(CAN ANYONE KNOW WHZT I JUSXT ROTE WITHOUT ME OING BACK N TAKING OUT EXTRA LETTRX ETC. ) I CANNOT BELIDVD WHZT MY LEFT HAN DOEX. I WAS--AND I MEAN WS--A GOOD TYPIZXT---AND COULD GO AT A PETTY FAIR CLIP. I CANNOT UNERSTANC HOSW MY FINGERS HIT THE RONG KEDYS, ADD KEYX AND OMEDTIMEZ MAKE A WORD THAT DOEN'T EVEN RESEMBLS WSHZT I ZAM TRYING TO SAY. GOOD NEWS FROM NEPAL

JUST GOT TRAVEL LOG BLOG FROM GROUP ON NEPAL THAT GRANDSON JOE IS WITH. THEY HAVE COME DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. THANK GOD FOR THAT. THEY WERE ABLE TO POST A COUPLE TIMES ON THE TRIP UP AND IT SOUNDED LIKE NOT MUCH FUN TO ME. FOR INSTANCE THEY SAID IT HAD WARMED UP---TO ABOUT ZERO !!!NOW EVEN IN MINNESOTA THAT ISN'T WARMING UP MUCH. THEY SLEPT IN 2 MAN TENTS LAST NITE IN A YAK FIELD.HMMMMMMM. EXCUSE CAPS, BUT MY SHIFT KEY IS BROKEN AND NOW THAT I HAVE TO TYPE WITH RIGHT HAND ONLY MAKES IT HARD. AM DRESSED AND READY TO GO TO A BABY SHOWER AS SOON AS DAUGHTER IN LAW GETS HERE.
