age problems

MOTHER USED TO SAY CERTAIN EVENTS WERE ENOUGH TO MAKE A PREACHER SWEAR----WELL I HAVE RUN ACROSS A FEW. ONE IS CLICKING ON THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND. I JUST LOST MY PICTURES OF MY "FOLLOWERS". AND WHEN I CLICKED ON A LITTLE ICON UP CAME A LIST OF NUMBERS AND ASKING HOW I WANTED MY GADGET CHANGED!!!! I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD ONE. ALL THE PICTURES ARE GONE. I ALSO JUST HAD A SCAM EMAIL THAT SAID IT WAS FROM AOL--AND THAT I NEEDED TO UPDATE MY ACCOUNT INFO OR LOSE SERVICE. I DID GO TO LIVE HELP FOR THAT ONE AND THEY HAD ME FORWARD TO TOSGeneral , as it was a scam to get password info from me.
guess i will go join hubby for a cup of hot coffee and cool down! barb

Computers keep us hopping and thinking, don't they?

Hi Barb,
I worry about that scam you came across and hope you didn't provide any personal information to them. Sad to say, but it's always safer to assume something like that is a scam and double-check with the institution that is supposed to have sent it. I almost was fooled once by something that looked like it came from Bank of America, but thank God I called the Bank to double-check. As for the photos of your followers, they do still seem to appear on your blog so they couldn't be "lost" ... I'll bet you changed your preference somehow temporarily, but I still see those photos when I visit your blog.
Best,
Marty
